In addition to the usual tarmac surrounding the school buildings, the playground in Crosspatrick has a one-acre field at the rear of the building, which accommodates all manner of games, and hosts our annual sports day in June. The view from the field takes in the Spa Hill beyond Johnstown, and Slievardagh beyond Urlingford. Further south one can see Slievenamon.
