Over the Christmas 2009 and into the New Year 2010 we had more snow and ice than we've had for many years. Temperatures reached double figures below zero. Birds and animals did the best they could to stay warm. The moon had a partial eclipse, and the sun tried hard to shine through the freezing fog.
